4 Kallbadhuset (cold bath) – in Varberg:
Known for its iron-rich springs, beautiful beaches and fresh sea air, Varberg is synonymous with health and wellness Spa in sweden. For more than 200 years, this picturesque spa town has attracted people to relax and rejuvenate after the long, cold winter has passed. Varberg is located on the West Coast, about 310 kilometers southwest of Stockholm, and has the highest concentration of wellness centers of any place in Sweden (and even great surfing activity), and you can reach it easily with a one-hour excursion.
You will definitely want to visit the cool cool bath (Kallbadhuset) on the waterfront, which was built in 1903, where you can learn the art of Scandinavian bathing, heating in a sauna and then soaking in the refreshing sea, again and again. The historic building offers access to the ocean with a little privacy from the open sea (although you can swim further if you wish, and women’s and men’s areas are separated).
