6 the Healing Water Village in Sätra Brunn:
Sätra Brunn dates back to the year 1700 and is one of the oldest Spa in Sweden. Its medicinal spring water was so famous that many nobles built their huts on land next to the springs. (Talking about religion, politics, and economics was strictly prohibited in The place where it was thought to disturb the guests). About 80 miles northwest of Stockholm, this resort is today a country village with more than 100 buildings dating from 1702 to 1994 and five public parks. This resort is not a luxury spa – prices start at $ 70 per person for a room / $ 130 per person for a room and full board.
Relax in a relaxing chair at Sätra Brunn’s Pool House, have a nice drink, read a paper or book and just rest. If you feel like taking a shower, all you have to do is relax in the warm water of the pool (93.2 degrees Fahrenheit) and swim with soothing music in the background.
Besides classic massages, face and body treatments, you can enjoy vinotherapy treatments enhanced by a glass of Amarone and Valpolicella wine for added relaxation.
