A total of 279 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in 111 countries as part of the vaccination programs that started in December. However, most vaccines are in the hands of developed countries.
Three-quarters of vaccine applications were made in just 10 countries, which account for 60 percent of global GDP.
The US, China and the UK are the fastest countries for vaccination. According to the country’s population, Israel ranks first among the countries that vaccinate the most.

While Brussels is still developing vaccines, it has signed pre-order agreements with multiple companies for enough vaccines for the European Union’s population of 450 million.
The first batch of vaccines began to be distributed from December 26th, proportionate to the populations of the countries. However, the supply of vaccines fell behind the agreement.
The EU has received only 70 per cent of the vaccines it needs to receive so far, while 30 per cent have been delayed.

At least 9,984,000 doses of vaccines were administered in Turkey in the fight against the coronavirus on January 14th, according to data on March 6.
A total of 7,514,000 people received at least one dose of the vaccine, while about 2,379,000 received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was also vaccinated at Ankara City Hospital. MHP Leader Devlet Bahceli and Good Party Leader Meral Akşener announced on their social media accounts that they had been vaccinated.
The appointment of the second dose to be made 28 days after the first dose is administered by the physician and sent to the mobile phone as SMS. Appointments can be checked or changed via MHRS and e-Pulse account.
